This is a minimum 3 hour walk alongside a 2oo year old aquaduct with a lunch stop at a visitor centre. The walk is fairly flat and takes us through the moors behind Greenock. Again a hidden gem with history to boot. This is ideal for those Cruise Ship passangers who wish to shake off some of the overeating on the ship.
Greenock has an amazing history even forgotten and sometimes ignored by its own residents. Churches that have been moved, massive shipyards, WW2, industrial revolution and a stone that curses curses passing ships.
